2010/2011 Leadership Development Programme now open for online applications
Young professionals from Southeast Europe are invited to apply for the 5th Leadership Development Programme. The application form will be available online from March till 9 May 2010.30 participants, mainly from Southeast Europe, will be carefully selected by the organising committee consisting of the Development Office, the TRANSFUSE Association and European Fund for the Balkans.
The young professionals will have the chance to participate in an interesting 10-month programme on the EU including a summer academy in Austria and Slovakia, joint activities in Southeast Europe and a final seminar in Belgium in spring 2011. They will receive scholarships from the European Fund for the Balkans.

Advanced programme on EU policies in Istanbul
The Development Office and the Kadir Has University in Istanbul are planning to organise an advanced programme on EU policies.The sessions are expected to cover aspects of the current political debate and future developments in the fields of ICT, EU energy, environmental and/or transport policy. The programme will be targeted at key stakeholders from Turkey. In December 2009, a first seminar with a focus on EU telecommunications policy was organised at the Centre for European Studies at the Kadir Has University in cooperation with the Development Office.
