Improving French before coming to the College

French is one of the two working languages of the College. A good working knowledge of French is an essential condition for admission. The College generally requires students to have a minimum level of B2 on the Council of Europe language scales.

Please note that there may be specific language requirements for specific studies.

All applicants should evaluate their language skills in the online application and supply internationally recognised certificates.

Please note that the required language skills are tested during selection interviews, and those applicants not supplying internationally recognised certificates before admission will be obliged to sit College tests, and may be asked to follow language courses. Native speakers are exempt from language tests in their native language.
