Desmond Dinan

Dr. Desmond Dinan is Professor of Public Policy and Jean Monnet Chair in the School of Public Policy, George Mason University, Virginia, USA. His publications include Origins and Evolution of the European Union (edited, 2006), Ever Closer Union: An Introduction to European Integration, 3rd edition (2005), and Europe Recast: A History of European Union (2004). He is director of the MA program in International Commerce and Policy at George Mason University. His degrees are from the University of Limerick (Ireland), University College Cork (Ireland), and Georgetown University (USA).
