Wyn Rees

Wyn Rees (UK) is Professor of International Security in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

A graduate from the Universities of Southampton and Lancaster, Wyn Rees has gained broad teaching experience as Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Leicester (1991-2002), at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Camberley (1987-91) and at the University of Reading.

His books include Transatlantic Counter-Terrorism Cooperation: The New Imperative (2006), Redefining Transatlantic Security Relations: The Challenge of Change (with Mahncke and Thompson, 2004), The European Union and Internal Security: Guardian of the People? (with Monar and Mitsilegas, 2003), Reforming the European Union (ed. with Lynch and Neuwahl, 2000), The Enlargement of Europe (with Croft, Redmond and Webber, 1999), and The Western European Union at the Crossroads: Between Atlantic Solidarity and European Integration (1998).
